However when those that are nearest and dearest to him are murdered the day he returns home, James learns that this wasn’t an act of war by a foreign foe but a conspiracy that runs up to the highest levels of government.

“True Believer” is the second novel in the “James Reece” series and was released in the year 2019. James’ cunning, skill, and heroism put the United States government back into his debt and set him on yet another path of revenge.

When a series of gruesome terrorist attacks plagues the Western world in the midst of the holiday season, and pushes the broader markets fall down into a tailspin. The attacks have been coordinated by some shadowy ex-Iraqi commando that has vanished into Europe’s underground. The US government has an asset that can turn the Iraqi against his masters, and the most wanted domestic terrorist alive, James Reece.

After Reece avenges the deaths of his team and family members, he emerges deep within the wilds of Mozambique, kept safe by his estranged former SEAL member and best friend’s family of. When a sequence of events reveals his whereabouts, he is recruited by the CIA, giving Reece a Presidential pardon as well as immunity for the buddies that aided him in his vengeance mission.

“Savage Son” is the third novel in the “James Reece” series and was released in the year 2020. James has to infiltrate the Russian mafia and turn the hunters and make them the hunted. Deep within the Siberian wilds of, one woman is on the run, being pursued by some man who has secrets, one that is intent on murdering her. One traitorous CIA officer has found safe haven with the Russian mafia with designs on ensuring that a certain ex-Navy SEAL sniper is buried in the ground.

Half of the world away, James recovers from brain surgery in the Montana wilderness. He slowly putting his life back together with the aid of Katie Buranek, an investigative journalist, and Raife Hastings, SEAL teammate and longtime friend. Unbeknownst to all of them, the Russian mafia has set their sights on James in a lethal game of cat and mouse.

In Jack’s most heart pounding and visceral thriller novel to date, explores humanity’s darkest instincts through the eyes of a guy that has seen both the worst and best of it. Just about finish Only the Dead and was attempting to find the next book. I am very disappointed to find this is the last book in the series! I am hoping you are writing a new one as I type this message. I am so invested in all these characters.

Love your books. Can’t wait to get the next in the series. I’m hoping a future book might go into the importance Alaska plays in the next(possible) world war. Alaska is my home. Your writing makes Reece and other characters real in their emotions.

I read “The Terminal List” and hated the way he gave every item used a full background of information CONSTANTLY – Very irritating. No more of Mr. Carr for me.

I just finished “The Terminal List” — fantastic, could not put it down. I have read books by Brad Thor, Vince Flynn, Lee Child, and Brad Taylor. Just found out this is a 4-part series. I hope I can find the next 3. Good luck on your future writing Mr. Carr. What an interesting career you have had.

“Infertility?” I wasn’t in the habit of parroting people’s words, but … what the shit? Infertility! I was barely thirty. I had at least five more years to make gorgeous, memorable mistakes with random men before I needed to think about having babies.

“Sorry, pal. My time with you didn’t chart in the first twenty memorable fucks I’ve had.”

“I’d still let you warm my bed, if you play your cards right.” I knew this was going to drive her bonkers. It did. She slapped my face now. Hard. I did not react. “Take me somewhere private so I can bite your head off properly,”

“There’s nothing you can do or say to make me see you as more than what you are. A spoiled little rich boy who ran away from home, but never really escaped the golden cage. You finally found the one thing you cannot have—me—and if it kills you… Well, then die.”

“Not until you answer me. Did. She. Suck. You. Off?” His pale eyes met mine soberly. “Yes.” “And did you enjoy it?” “Yes.”

“I don’t have any other hookups,” he said irritably, like I was the one who was being unreasonable. Was I? “The day your tires got slashed was the day I stopped taking other women’s calls. What do you take me for?”

“You two getting married?” Sam leaned against the foot of the bed, draping an arm over Aisling’s shoulder. “Not yet, I need to propose to him first.” Belle propped her head against my shoulder, and it hurt like all the bitches on planet Earth, but obviously, I did not say a thing. “Would you look at that. Not even married, and she already wears the pants in this relationship.” Hunter jerked a thumb in her direction, laughing. “Knowing Devon, he’ll find a way to get her out of them.” Cillian smiled—and for a second there looked almost human.

"Mummy." – said by a 41-yrs old skeleton

“The night we got in bed together for the first time, at Cillian’s cabin, was the night I first contemplated breaking my pact with myself to never marry a woman.”

He chuckled, and that was when I noticed them. The faint pink scratches on his neck.

“You’ll never be able to tame me,” I warned. “I have no desire to.” He licked his way up my neck, sealing my mouth with a red-hot kiss. With all the tongue and droplets of water and so much desire, I thought I was going to combust. “I like you just the way you are. Unlikely, I know, considering your mule of a personality, but true.” “I’m a mess,” I panted. “Be my mess.”

"It was a small, intimate ceremony in Madame Mayhem. The bridesmaids wore red lingerie and garters and couldn’t say shit about it."

“She was perfect. And by perfect, I meant a mess. No one would touch me with a ten-foot pole if I got her pregnant. Least of all Louisa Butchart.”
