CHE (USA):Principal of Abdul Rashid Academy of Culinary Arts and Maritime Hospitality. An Alumnus of the prestigious IHM Dadar, Mr. Paul has spent a major part of his career in the field of hospitality education. He has been the Principal of the prestigious OSHM College, affiliated to Calicut University, Kerala. He also holds a CHE, the ultimate certificate in hospitality training from AHLA (USA). Mr. Paul felt that the Maritime Catering Training conducted across the country are not helping students to strive for excellence in the hospitality profession. He felt that the training provided was broad and was not specific. Thus, felt the need for a Maritime catering course offering international standards of training. So, taking help from the industry stalwarts he initiated a three year degree in Bsc. Maritme Hospitality Studies, affiliated to Mumbai University, in order to provide students with higher education and career development opportunity.

Ms.Archana Yendarkar is commerce graduate from University of Mumbai and she has completed her MBA from Sikkim Manipal University at Karrox college and Diploma in Financial Management from Wellingkar Institute. Started sea career with The S C I Ltd in 1977 and after sailing as Chief Engineer joined them as Technical Manager ashore in 1993. Later worked as Technical Supdt in Eurasia Ship management. In 2004 , taken over as Chief Executive officer of MAN B & W Diesel (I) Ltd with responsibility for India, Srilanka and Bangladesh region till 2009. Joined TS Rahaman as Consultant training in 2009 and continued till 2015. After 2 years in Indian Register of Shipping as Consultant training, returned to T S Rahaman in April 2017

Training Faculty I have a total sea service with the Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. of 26 and half year. This including 16 Years of Command experience of Oil Tankers (Crude Oil and Product), Bulk Carriers, Container Cum Cargo vessel. I also served for 11 and half years in Technical Departments of the S C I shore management in various capacity till superannuating on 31st March 2017. Liquor & Gaming NSW has developed a new Licensee Refresher online course covering the requirements for licensees, approved managers, and club secretaries to renew their Licensee, Advanced Licensee, and RSA endorsements in the one course, for one fee. Renewal of Licensee endorsements is required every 5 years, therefore, 2024 introduces the first round of Licensee renewals. The Licensee Refresher online course is now live and covers a range of content designed to educate, refresh, and assess on key compliance areas and new industry developments.

Refresher And Updating Training In Medical First Aid(RMFA)
Eligibility.
Deck and Engineering officers holding MFA Course STCW 78 /STCW 95 certificate willing to convert to STCW 2010 MFA certificate
Kindly read MS Notice 13 of 2020 and DGS order 36 of 2020 prior you confirm the booking.
Non-Indian Participants need to hold a Student Visa to India to undergo the course.
Documents Required
- MFA Certificate
If the sea service & the certificate details are updated on the Seafarer Profile, then the seafarer profile can be submitted. Alternatively, the shore experience letter & the MFA Certificate can be merged and uploaded on the HIMT Portal.
As per DGS Order 20 of 2020, Successful Completion of E-Learning Modules (DG Shipping Course ID- 6412) through the DGS website and completion of exit exam is mandatory to get Digital Certificate for all DG approved Courses.
As per DGS Order 11 of 2022, the course will be conducted PHYSICALLY.
This is the full course of 5 years validity for R-MFA. The candidates who already have a PART A Certificate (18 months valid) can book R-MFA PART B Course
As per DGS Order 11 of 2022, the exit exam has to be given only in the MTI. In case the candidate fails in the exit exam, they can give the exit exam on the following working day at the MTI.
Kindly make the travel arrangements accordingly.
