If you ever wanted to become a writer in  Bitlife,  it's not only possible in the game, but you can also become famous writing in the game. That said, here's everything you need to do to become a famous writer in  Bitlife.

How to Become a Famous Author in Bitlife

To become a famous writer in  Bitlife, you will need to get a job as a writer and write for a few years while also working hard. In our playthrough, we managed to become a writer after four years, but this might be different for you, as the rate where you can become famous varies.

That said, you will need to prepare from a young age to become a famous writer, and the first thing you will need to do is create a character with decent smart stats. It doesn't have to be perfect; at least 40 will be fine enough, you can always boost your smart stats by reading books and going to the library.

After creating your character, keep aging until you graduate from high school while also keeping your stats up. Once you graduate, you can get a degree and go to university to help increase your chances of landing a writing job. However, it's not needed as you can become famous by simply writing for a few years, because of this we recommend applying as soon as possible for the writer job. You can find the writing job under the careers category with an icon of a notebook and pen.

Once you get the job, all you will need to do is use the work harder option under your job tab and age a few years. Eventually, you will get the famous pop-up letting you know you became a famous writer. After this point, you will be able to use the famous tab under activities to rake in the trillions using various options such as write a book. Along with this, you can also go on talk shows, do commercials, and even do a photoshoot.

Writers have to work extremely hard to keep up with their craft and gain notoriety in the world. It’s challenging but gratifying. The same thing is true in BitLife. To become a famous writer, you need to work diligently to gain a worthwhile reputation in the game.

It takes a bit of time to get into this profession, and tracking it down in the menus can be a struggle, especially when you’re trying to break into fame. Here’s what you need to know about how to become a famous writer and author in BitLife.

How to get a writer profession and become famous in BitLife

To become a writer in BitLife, you must first graduate high school. Your character needs high Smarts, so you want to increase that as much as possible. There are multiple ways to do this, such as reading books through the tireless mini-game or visiting the library. We recommend reading books and then going to the library to avoid the mini-game when your character becomes old enough. Both activities are effective at keeping your character’s Smart stats up.

Once you graduate high school, you need to head to college and have your character work on getting their English degree. This should take you roughly four years to complete. After that, we recommend you attend a graduate school for higher learning focusing on English. This should not take as long, but keeping your Smarts stat up is important. After you’ve done that and graduate, the next step is to wait for a writer position to open up in the occupations. There’s quite a bit of luck when it comes to having this job appear, so if you’re patient, it should arrive. You should see (Publisher) next to it, too.

If you don’t see any jobs opening up with the (Publisher) name next to them, a good idea is to shut down the BitLife application and bring it back up again. When you launch the game, a new series of jobs under the Occupation page should appear, and hopefully, they’re the correct ones you’re looking for. You can continue doing this until the right job appears, preventing your character from aging too quickly.

When your character has a job, like any profession, you need to work hard on it every year and ensure your character maintains their high Smarts. While you’re working, we recommend keeping your Smarts stat high and continuing to read books to make it easier to keep the job and become proficient. After seven to ten years of being a writer and working hard, you should eventually become famous. The fame status will appear, and you’ll need to work on maintaining your notoriety by writing books every so often.

There’s a specific strategy for obtaining this job, but nothing is too complicated. Unfortunately, finding the Writer position under the occupation tab is probably the most significant complication, though you’ll also need a character with high Smarts stats when they initially start. Of course, you can always reroll your character to start over.

This process can take only a handful of in-game years, though mobile video game fans should not be surprised if it is 10 years or more before they earn the designation. How do you become a Famous Writer in Bitlife?

To become a famous author in Bitlife, you have to first graduate high school with flying colors and apply for the Writer job . Having a high smart level is crucial for this so do your best to increase it to more than 85% by reading books or going to the library to get knowledge.

After passing out of High School, go to University and get an English degree which will increase your chances of becoming a good writer. But it is possible to complete this challenge without this part.

Once you feel confident, you can apply for the job as a Writer . This job will be available in the Jobs section of the game where you will find the Writer (Publisher) vacancy. Clear the interview and work for 8 years to 20 years which will give you the Writer Career Achievement . This is a big deal and you will become more famous due to it. In case you don’t see the Writer job, close the app and restart it and you may see the job opening in the Jobs section. If not, try again.

In terms of attributes, try not to bring sadness (depression) into the picture so manage your Happiness level as well. Plus, looks don’t play a role in this case. All you need overall is high smartness and average happiness levels.

As you keep working towards your goal, you will see the Fame status. Remember to keep writing books to avoid losing your fame. Plus, you can also do TV commercials, go to a talk show or do a photo shoot to maintain your stardom.

If you have taken the time to play the free game BitLife , you will be aware of the many weird and wonderful avenues your life can take. Every job, from Worm Picker to Real Estate Mogul, is available to become the master of if you make the right choices. There are many awards available within the game, giving it huge amounts of replayability. It is easy enough to burn through a whole life in just five minutes, making that chase for completion all the more tempting. One of the achievements, Lucrative Lexicon , requires you to become a famous Author in BitLife . Here are the steps you need to take to achieve it.

You’re going to have to be a bit of a book nerd to get the job of Writer in Bitlife . Whilst in school, make sure you focus on doing all the extracurricular activities, including going to the Library under the Activities tab and studying extra under the School tab.

Go to University

Once you are done with high school, keep an eye out for an English-based degree. If you’re lucky, you will get something like Publishing or English Literature. These two set you up well to become a famous author in BitLife . Make sure you carry on putting those hours into the library and extra study.

Once you are done with your education, look out for the Writer position in the Occupations tab. It may take a few years to turn up, and you may not get the job immediately, but persevere. It may take a few tries, but once you’re in, you’re on your way to becoming a famous Author in BitLife.

Publish some bestsellers to become a famous Author in BitLife

As you write, certain books will start to sell really well, eventually becoming bestsellers. Once you have at least two of these under your belt, you’ll become famous, and your fame bar will appear on the screen. At this point, you are now a famous Author in BitLife . Congratulations, worldwide fame, and renown are yours.

You won’t always be able to publish best sellers; it isn’t a given. You may have to try a few times; sometimes, it takes fifty years to get a good book out.

Be the Whiz Kid

Starting out, you want to try to have a starting smarts stat of at least 70% . Any lower than that will make things a little harder, depending on how your early life goes. You may want to remake your character if your natural smarts is too low.

Aside from that, you don’t need to deviate much when living your early life! Just be a good kid and grow up loving your family and being nice to your friends and classmates. Elementary school should be a piece of cake, so just be good and keep your grades up.

When you get to high school, try to join one of the extracurricular clubs. The club you choose doesn’t necessarily have to be a sports related one, so don’t worry about your athleticism stat. Just pick something, as supposedly it ups your chance for getting the rarer jobs.

Becoming a Writer

Once you’re out of high school, it’s time to job hunt. Check the job listings every year and search for Writer – it’ll usually be towards the bottom of the list. The only per-requisite is that you’ve graduated high school, so you can skip going to college if you want. Be careful about getting other jobs if you want to put off becoming a writer for later, as some jobs will lock you out of the writing career!

Nail the interview – just don’t pick any of the obviously antagonistic answers – and you’ll officially be a writer. Now, at this point you can just work hard and let your books do the talking, but if you want to be extra safe now is a good time to open a bunch of social media accounts and be active on them, like making posts.

Becoming Famous

Every year make sure to go into your Job tab and go to your performance and select the work harder option. This will increase your performance but also put you at risk of health conditions – if you start to contract diseases like high-blood pressure, be sure to lower your hours and take some time to rest.

Pass enough years with good job performance and eventually you’ll become a famous writer! Now, you can do the fame-related options in the activities tab. You can finally publish your dream book, star in a commercial, pose for a photo shoot, and even go on a talk show. We recommend to do at least one of these activities every year to keep your fame level up.
