Rosco iPro Image Projector
Brand: Rosco

Using the iPro Image Projector™ and a typical theatrical spotlight, project virtually any image you want - quickly, affordably, and easily.
A simple device provides an ingenious solution... In short, the iPro Image Projector™ projects an image created from a simple plastic slide. Attach an iPro Slide cartridge to the back plate of the iPro Image Projector™ and insert it into the iris slot of any one of several common luminaires. Then simply turn on the light to project anything from a dazzling full color panorama to a corporate logo, or even a last minute custom gobo texture. Even at 100% intensity, the iPro Slide will last from 15-50 hours with no fading or degradation.
With a form factor similar to the Rosco Gobo Rotator, the iPro Image Projector™ is both elegant and simple in its engineering. Using three different systems - cooling airflow, infrared reflection, and thermal barriers - the slide is well protected from the extreme heat of the luminaire. Unique toolings on the backplate allow the iPro Image Projector™ to fit snugly into the four most common luminaires: the Altman Shakespeare, ETC Source Four, Selecon Pacific and Strand SL.
You need to project a skyline to establish the time and place of the play you're designing... Calling on more than 25 years of experience working with some of the best lighting and set designers, Rosco has put together a Library of images sure to meet most of your design needs. Choose from more than 400 designs ranging across 14 categories. Any image you select can be made into an iPro slide in just 24 hours!
If your client needs their corporate logo to be projected in their trade show stand; or if your lighting design will be best served by projecting a custom designed building facade; or if you just can't find what you like in Rosco's Library but you can create what you want on your computer, then use Rosco's custom iPro Slide Service and you will receive your design made up into a fully assembled iPro Slide cartridge in just 24 hours - for the same low price as a Library Standard design!
Alternately, when your guest artist arrives at 4pm on opening night and needs a look that is "different", design and make your own projection by following the easy instructions in the iPro Slide Kit. Not that Rosco is encouraging directors to make last minute changes.

Unique toolings on the backplate allow the iPro Image Projector to fit snugly into the four most common luminaires: the Altman Shakespeare, ETC Source Four, Selecon Pacific and Strand SL.

Introducing Image Spot ® HO
Rosco’s range of Image Spot Projectors has become one of the most popular options in the world for providing brilliant gobo imaging inside museums, retail stores, themed environments, and hospitality venues. Our newest high-output model – the 75W Image Spot HO – has arrived for its time to shine!
High Output Performance
Compared to the 45W Image Spot and the 14W Image Spot Mini , the Image Spot HO is the brightest projector in the Image Spot range producing up to 2,900 lumens of output. The fixture’s power, combined with its superior optics, enables Image Spot HO to produce crisp gobo projections up to 75’ (22m) away. Image Spot HO is available in two color temperature options: 3000K warm white and 5500K cool white.
Powerful Gobo Projection
Image Spot HO accepts steel, black & white glass, and color glass Image Spot Gobos, which feature custom bezels that enable a secure fit inside the Image Spot gobo cassette. The fixture can even accept thicker Effects Glass gobos like Image Glass and ColorWaves, as well as Rosco Permacolor dichroic glass filters. Image Spot HO was also designed to be compatible with the original Image Spot Lens Optics – available in 10°, 19°, 25°, and 30° options – for precise control of its beam angle.
Durable & Reliable
The IP65-rated Image Spot HO is powered via an IP65+-rated external driver – making it easy to install in any environment, indoors or outdoors. There are three driver options to choose from. A 3-In-1 Driver that offers 0-10 VDC, 10V PWM, and Resistance dimming options, a DALI Driver that interfaces with DALI control technology, and a Driver with an Onboard Potentiometer for manual control in the field.
Sleek Design
Measuring in at 8.9 in x 4.8 in x 6.8 in (228mm x 123mm x 172.5mm) and weighing 4.4lbs (2kg), the Image Spot HO is ideal for your upcoming projection needs. The fixture’s use of an external driver allows for a slimmer form factor in comparison to the original Image Spot, while its body is slightly longer to dissipate the heat from the higher wattage LED array.
For more information about Rosco’s High Output LED gobo projector, visit the Image Spot HO Product Page on the Rosco website.

HP PCs - How to reset your computer to factory settings (Windows 11, 10)
Resetting your computer to factory settings might be necessary if the operating system is damaged, the hard drive is corrupted, the computer is infected by a virus, or you are transferring ownership of the computer. HP System Recovery removes all hard drive data and reinstalls the original operating system.
HP Cloud Recovery is available for HP PCs manufactured in 2016 and later. HP Cloud Recovery allows you to download recovery software to a USB flash drive. If your computer is not supported by HP Cloud Recovery, go to HP PCs - Reset the computer for more information.
Preparing for system recovery in Windows
Before performing a system recovery, review the topics that might prevent the need to run a recovery or might help to ensure a successful recovery.
Correct startup or boot issues
Many startup or boot issues are caused by minor problems that are easily corrected. Before recovering your computer, try to determine if other, non-destructive, corrective actions will fix the problem.
For more information, see HP PCs - Computer does not boot or start .
Back up important files
HP recommends that you back up your files on an external drive or CD/DVD on a regular basis. Scheduled backups can help you recover some, if not all, of your information in the event that something happens to the original files on your computer.
Factory resetting your computer destroys all the files on the hard drive . If you did not back up your files before running a factory reset, the computer might display a prompt to make a backup copy of your files before the reset performs any action that erases or deletes files.
For more information on backing up your important files, see HP PCs - Back up your files (Windows 11, 10) .
Complete a Microsoft System Restore
If your computer develops a problem, perform a Microsoft System Restore before performing a system restore.
The Microsoft System Restore function returns the computer to a restore point, which resets all of the settings for the operating system to those settings that existed at the time the restore point was created. No personal data files, such as email, documents, or pictures are lost. For more information on Microsoft System Restore, see HP PCs - Using Microsoft System Restore .
Know which type of recovery to perform
There are several different types of recovery. See the following tables for more information on recovery options.
Perform a system recovery in Windows
Identify the correct recovery tool for your computer and find step-by-step instructions for performing a recovery or reset.
Select a recovery process for Windows
Use one of the following links based on the type of recovery or reset that you want to perform:
Solve common Windows recovery issues
The most common cause of recovery issues is interruption of the process or turning off the computer before the recovery and setup is complete.
For more information, see HP PCs - Reset the computer .
Update your computer after system recovery
After performing a system recovery, HP recommends installing updates through Windows Update.
For more information, see HP PCs - Updating drivers using Windows update (Windows 11, 10) .

Donald Trump faces backlash after sharing video featuring a hogtied Joe Biden
Former President Donald Trump is facing intense criticism for what Democrats say is a new low this weekend after sharing a video on his social media website that has an image of President Joe Biden hogtied.
In a 20-second video posted on the presumptive Republican nominee's Truth Social page , a pickup truck featuring pro-Trump flags can be seen with a large decal on its rear end showing Biden bound by his legs and hands, lying horizontally.
Trump indicated the clip was filmed in Long Island on Thursday while he was there attending the wake of Officer Jonathan Diller, a New York City police officer gunned down in the line of duty.
Promoting the video ignited a new round of condemnation from Trump's critics, who pointed to how the GOP contender has repeatedly used grisly images in the past and who asserted it crosses a serious line in U.S. politics.
"A realistic picture of President Biden tied up helpless in the back of a van with Trump's gloating mug in front of the scene. He's threatening the president's life," Laurence Tribe, a Harvard Law professor emeritus said in a March 29 post on X , formerly known as Twitter.
Prep for the polls: See who is running for president and compare where they stand on key issues in our Voter Guide
"That's a felony. If anyone else did it, the feds would arrest him. What now?"
Asked about sharing the clip, Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung pivoted to several comments by Democrats in years past that he alluded to as going too far.
Among the examples Cheung spotlighted was a 2018 comment made by Biden referring to Trump's infamous "Access Hollywood" tape , which surfaced during the 2016 campaign.
"If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him," Biden said at the time.
"Democrats and crazed lunatics have not only called for despicable violence against President Trump and his family, they are actually weaponizing the justice system against him," Cheung said.
The Biden campaign did immediately responded to a request for comment.
The 2024 iPad Pro could get the design change we all wanted
No more awkward video calls.
If the rumours are to be believed, 2024 iPad Pros should be announced by Apple soon. And the suggestion is that the top-of-the-range tablet among iPad generations could get a design change that many of us have long wanted.
Normally, the way things go with Apple products is that cheaper models inherit features from the previous generation of Pro devices. Thus, the standard iPad gets features from iPad Pro a year or so later, and the standard iPhone inherits novel features from the iPhone Pro. But it seems Apple may reverse that trend by adopting a design cue from the 2022 iPad 10 for the new Pros: namely, a landscape-oriented camera on the front.
As first spotted by MacRumors , Apple leaker Instant Digital has shared evidence on the Chinese social media platform Weibo backing up the rumour. The post includes an image of that the new iPad Pro could look like, suggesting that the whole TrueDepth camera array will move the right side of the device, while the microphone will remain on top in a new centre position.
It's not the first time that we've heard this suggestion. Back in January, it was noted that iPadOS 17.4 beta code suggested the iPad Pro’s Face ID sensors were going to be moved from the top of the device when held in portrait to the top when held in landscape. Instant Digital has claimed that the sixth-gen iPad Air will get the same design change.
Face ID first appeared on the 2018 iPad Pro and has been on the short side of the display ever since. That made sense when iPads were mainly used in portrait-orientation. But the way people use iPad has changed, particularly iPad Pros which have as much power as many laptops. People often use the tablet horizontally, be it for streaming and video calls of for using for work in combinations with one of the best iPad keyboards .
So far, the only iPad to move the a selfie camera to the long edge is the 10th gen iPad, which was released in October 2022 alongside the last iPad Pros. Last year (2023) was unprecedented in that it was the first year in the iPad's existence that Apple released no new tablets, so the company hasn't yet had a chance to apply the same design change to other models.
It might seem unusual for Apple to take a feature from a lower-end tablet for the Pro, but the 10.9-in iPad was the last iPad to be released, but it would be a welcome move for the increasing number of users who take video calls with the iPad docked in a keyboard, and would make sense for the reportedly imminent release of new iPad Pro and Airs.

iPhone 16 Camera Rumors: All the Buzz Surrounding Apple's Camera Upgrades
T he iPhone 16 and 16 Pro aren't expected until September but already there are a whole host of rumors flying around about Apple's next superphones. From larger display sizes to new processors, the next iPhones could pack a suite of upgrades. But I'm a photographer, so it's the cameras I'm most excited about.
Apple has always packed the iPhone with some of the best cameras you can get in a smartphone and the iPhone 15 Pro Max , with its 5x optical zoom, remains one of the best camera phones money can buy right now.

But competition is fierce, particularly in the photography arena, so Apple will be looking for ways to keep the phone's photo-taking skills top notch. So let's dive into what the rumor mill has been saying about the cameras on the iPhone 16 range.
A new physical camera button
The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max brought a new "Action" button to the outer edge of the phone which allows you to customize it to perform various actions like launching the camera or taking a voice memo.
But MacRumors suggests that an additional button will appear on the next model, aimed specifically at photographers. The button will act as a camera shutter, with multiple levels of sensitivity allowing for a half press for focusing and a full press for taking an image. Rumors also suggest the button will recognise swipe gestures, with left or right swipes letting you zoom in or out.
While the volume buttons have been able to activate the camera shutter for some time, this new button would bring deeper camera controls and allow you to operate the iPhone more like a compact digital camera.
Better zoom for all Pro models
According to Apple analyst Ming Chi Kuo , the base iPhone 16 Pro will be equipped with a 5x optical zoom lens. This was something only found on the larger iPhone 15 Pro Max so it'd be good to see the same zoom level offered in a smaller, more pocket-friendly package.
But it's possible that both phones will get an upgrade, with some earlier rumors suggesting the iPhone 16 Pro Max will get a "super telephoto" lens offering zoom levels beyond the current 5x range. While this would be a welcome addition to sports or wildlife photographers who rely on long zoom levels, these rumors circulated in summer of last year -- before we even saw the launch of the iPhone 15. So take them with a hefty pinch of salt.
A larger image sensor
According to a MacRumors story , covering claims from Weibo user Digital Chat Station, the iPhone 16 Pro's main camera could have a larger image sensor. This would apparently be 1/1.14 inches in size, making it bigger than the 1/1.28-inch sensor found on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
A larger sensor captures more light and image information allowing for better details, dynamic range and improved low light performance so it'd be great to see such a large size increase. And it'd be smart for Apple to up its game here as phones like the Xiaomi 14 Ultra are already using even larger image sensors of 1/0.98-inches (known as 1-inch type) for their main cameras.
Higher-resolution ultrawide cameras
The iPhones' ultrawide cameras have felt a little neglected in the past few generations, with the resolution remaining at 12 megapixels since the iPhone 11. But a report from noted analyst Jeff Pu, seen by 9to5Mac , says the ultrawide cameras on both the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will get a significant bump up to 48 megapixels.
Vertical camera arrangement
Various rumors and leaked renders suggest that the base iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models will have a vertical camera layout, rather than in the diagonal form seen on the iPhone 15. It'd make the design look more similar to the iPhone 12 , but there's a bigger reason this may happen beyond simple aesthetics.
A vertical camera layout like this would allow the phones to more easily shoot spatial video , using information from both cameras to create a 3D-like effect. It'd make sense, as Apple brought spatial video shooting to the iPhone 15 Pro range, but not to the base iPhone 15 models, likely due to the camera layout.
While spatial videos look just like regular 2D videos when played on your iPhone, they're designed to give a 3D effect when viewed on Apple's Vision Pro headset .
Other things we want to see
Apple's WWDC event takes place June 10 where the company is expected to take the wraps off iOS 18 . AI is predicted to be a big part of the new software and it's highly likely that AI skills will extend to the camera. The iPhone's camera already uses AI to varying degrees in its computational photography, skin tone reproduction, depth mapping and even down to the auto settings it uses when taking an image.
But deeper AI would allow for better scene recognition -- and therefore better use of settings and processing to take nicer-looking images. I've also been impressed at the AI object removal seen on the Google Pixel range and it's possible we'll see similar AI-based editing tools on the next iPhone.
Speaking of editing, it's possible Apple may introduce more ways to edit video on the phone, in particular when shooting using Log on the 15 Pro and Pro Max. Log video is designed to look flat and gray when shot as it gives a better base for editing and adding color and contrast back in later.
Right now you have to transfer that footage to an iPad or computer to edit your Log videos in software like BlackMagic's DaVinci Resolve, so it'd be good to see Apple introduce more ways to process Log footage on the phone. Perhaps even to introduce its own range of "LUTs" -- presets used to quickly apply color and contrast to videos -- into the iPhone's edit tools.
Editors' note: CNET is using an AI engine to help create some stories. For more, see this post .
