365 Days book 3 signals an unexpected ending to Netflix trilogy
Erotic thrillers… there’s nothing quite like them.
We’ve been fortunate enough to be treated to some memorable ones over the decades, including Wild Things , Unfaithful , Fatal Attraction , Bound , and Basic Instinct .
More recently, Amazon Prime Video unveiled Deep Water , arguably fuelling a resurgence that may just have begun with the lockdown hit 365 Days.
Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes’ movie seemed to drop on Netflix at the perfect time, with audiences eager for a sequel pretty much instantly. The second film – 365 Days: This Day – landed on Wednesday, April 27th 2022 and you’ll know that the films are based on a trilogy of books written by Blanka Lipińska.
So, let’s dive into the 365 Days book 3 ending with full spoilers.
- BODIES BODIES BODIES : Release date
The trilogy’s end begins in decline
Titled The Next 365 Days, the third and final instalment in the novel series begins with Massimo opting to keep Laura alive and giving up the child after the events of the second book.
He was tasked with choosing one and chose her, although Laura is ultimately left unaware of this important fact.
Under the belief she lost it naturally, she spirals into alcoholism and becomes increasingly bored and dependent on Massimo, which affects his work.
- RAISING DION : Why was it cancelled?
365 Days book 3 ending explained
Laura loses her grip over the company and settles for friendship, adopting a pet dog named Prada. However, sparks soon fly between her and Nacho while Massimo starts to fall into drug use.
Nacho and Laura fall for each other and a jealous Massimo kills Prada as an enraged warning of sorts, although he later denies doing so.
Massimo then shows up at Olga and Domenico’s wedding with another girl, making Laura jealous. He successfully attempts to turn her against Nacho and she goes home with Massimo, only to realise that he deceived her.
Laura essentially finds herself back at square one in Massimo’s clutches and plots her escape, returning to Nacho. The new couple then gets married and is expecting their first child.
There you have it – the ending of the 365 Days story. However, it’s uncertain if the filmmakers will conform to the story of the third novel beat for beat when adapting it for the screen at Netflix. Speaking of which…

The Next 365 Days is incoming
A third movie has already been officially confirmed at Netflix, with Netflix Life reporting that there were plans to film both the second and third movies back to back with the same cast and crew.
Although there’s no release date just yet, this suggests there won’t be as long of a wait between films this time around.
365 Days: This Day is now streaming on Netflix.

‘The Next 365 Days’ Ending, Explained: Does Laura Choose Massimo or Nacho?
Where to stream:.
- The Next 365 Days
The Next 365 Days is the third and potentially final installment in Netflix’s steamy 365 Days trilogy. Known as the Polish 50 Shades of Grey , the series follows the tumultuous romance between brooding Italian mob boss Massimo ( Michele Morrone ) and Polish beauty Laura ( Anna-Maria Sieklucka ). The Next 365 Days tests their relationship like never before as Laura grapples with her unresolved feelings for Nacho (Simone Susinna), whom she met in 365 Days: This Day .
As in the last two installments, The Next 365 Days is full of jaw-dropping sex scenes, tons of nudity, and lots of lavish lifestyle porn. After nearly dying at the end of 365 Days: This Day (and almost dying at the end of the original 365 Days ), Laura has decided she’s been given a second chance at life. She chafes under Massimo’s controlling rules and parties with bestie Olga (Magdalena Lamparska) without Massimo’s permission. Massimo, for his part, still wants to know what happened between Laura and Nacho during their brief split in the last film. Can Massimo and Laura’s marriage survive his paranoia and Laura’s lust for Nacho?
Does Laura choose Massimo or Nacho at the end of The Next 365 Days ?
Warning: Major The Next 365 Days spoilers ahead.
What happens in The Next 365 Days 2022? The Next 365 Days plot summary:
The Next 365 Days takes place after the explosive finale of 365 Days: This Day . We learn that Massimo’s evil twin Adriano perished in the church shootout, but Laura survived. Laura is horny for Massimo and tired of being babied in her sick bed. After getting her hair done, Laura interrupts one of Massimo’s “business meetings” to seduce him on a counter next door. Laura then sneaks out to dinner with Olga and confesses that she might have feelings for Nacho.
At a nightclub, Massimo confronts Laura about going out without him. The two go into a private room with a stripper. It briefly looks like they are going to have a threeway, but Laura eventually tells the dancer to leave and has sex with Massimo. Later, at home, a drunk Massimo asks her what happened on the island and they fight about the baby Laura lost. Laura then has a flashback to the island and it’s unclear if she hooked up with Nacho or not. Laura finally falls asleep and dreams of having sex with Nacho, but when she wakes up, it’s Massimo in her bed. She clams up and says it’s a hangover, but Massimo is convinced she’s hiding something.
Massimo attempts to lose himself in cocaine and sex workers, but it only reminds him of Laura. Laura devotes herself to work, because, you know, she has a fashion line that Massimo bought her for Christmas in the last film. At one point she walks in on her designer having sex with a mode and is cool with it. (This part of the film is basically an orgy.)
Laura and Olga go to a fashion fair in Lagos, Portugal where they do more partying and brand ambassador-ing. As it happens, Nacho is also there to compete in a surfing competition which means Laura continues to have intense sex dreams about him. Laura attends a fashion show in a nightclub where she runs into Nacho’s sister (and Nacho).
Laura kisses Nacho. He then confesses his love for her and drives her to a random house that may or may not be his. They have a dramatic conversation on the beach that quickly leads to sex…on the beach. Nacho reveals that he saved Massimo’s life because Laura loves him. Nacho goes on to say he doesn’t want to force or coerce Laura to be with him. Instead, he will let her go back to Massimo and wait for her.
When Laura returns to her hotel, a furious Massimo is waiting for her. Laura brings up that she’s close to asking for a divorce, which obviously enrages Massimo. Laura asks Massimo for space to figure out what she wants. He complies.
Laura returns home to her parents and confesses to them that she’s in love with Nacho. When she adds that she doesn’t know who she’d choose, her mother says women have to put their own happiness first in relationships. Laura dreams of a threeway with both Massimo and Nacho in which, yes, the men make out.
Olga calls Laura to tell her he overheard Massimo telling his friend that he knows Laura slept with Nacho. Olga is worried Massimo will murder Laura, but she says she’s not afraid of her husband and that she’s going to return to Sicily.
So what happens? Whom does Laura choose? Does Massimo kill Laura?
What is The Next 365 Days ending, explained?
When Laura arrives in Sicily, Nacho has disguised himself as her driver, to his great peril. Nacho confesses that he didn’t love Laura at first sight, but came to fall in love with her anger, stubbornness, and all her other quirks. He says that she taught him how to be best friends with your lover. Nacho wants to give Laura everything. To this, Laura says she needs to speak to Massimo, adding she can’t stay in that situation anymore, but she needs more time. Nacho says he will wait.
When they arrive at Massimo’s villa, Olga is frantic and terrified to see Nacho is the driver. (Olga still thinks Massimo will kill them all because he’s a crime lord.) Laura goes alone to confront Massimo on the beach. Massimo starts by saying he didn’t want to be bad and he was ashamed that Laura didn’t feel she could come to him about news of their baby, leaving her to deal with the grief alone.

Laura asks Massimo why he didn’t do anything if he already knew about her and Nacho. Massimo quotes the phrase, “If you really love something, just let it go. If it comes back, it’s yours forever. If it doesn’t, it was never meant to be.”
Massimo asks, “Are you back, baby girl?” Michele Morrone’s own son “Angels” plays as the camera cuts back and forth to Massimo and Laura.
And that’s the end of the movie! We never know who Laura chooses!
It seems that the ending of The Next 365 Days is sort of a choose your own adventure situation. If you want to believe in the enduring bond of Massimo and Laura, you could take her polite comment that Massimo will be a good father one day as proof that she stays. On the other hand, if you think this film is a haunting study of a woman learning how to leave her abusive partner, Laura’s comment to Nacho that she has to get out of this situation suggests she leaves Massimo. It’s really open to interpretation!

About the book, about the author.
Blanka Lipinska is a #1 international bestselling author. Her trilogy has been translated in almost thirty languages and sold in over a hundred countries worldwide with millions of copies in print. She’s an author out of desire rather than necessity and writes for fun instead of money. She loves tattoos, values truthfulness, and treasures altruism. Annoyed with the lack of openness about sex, she took it upon herself to start a discussion about the many sides of love. She likes to say that talking about sex is as easy as preparing dinner. Blanka was ranked as one of Poland’s highest paid writers in 2019 by Wprost magazine. In 2020, the same magazine listed her as one of Poland’s most influential women. The Polish National Library readership survey lists her in the top ten most popular authors in Poland and ForbesWomen magazine included her among the top female brands. Her bestselling novel 365 Days is the basis of one of 2020’s most successful Netflix movies worldwide. The film has spent ten days as #1, the second highest in the chart’s history. The Netflix movie for 365 Days: This Day also shot to #1 in almost ninety countries in the first week.

Is there going to be a '365 Days' 3? What we know about the steamy trilogy's future
The final installment of the "365 Days" movie series will premiere in August 2022. Entitled "The Next 365 Days," the movie is set to conclude Massimo Torricelli (Michele Morrone) and Laura's (Anna-Maria Sieklucka) romance.
The sequel to the steamy (and controversial) Netflix movie "365 Days" premiered on Netflix in April 2022.
The movies are adapted from bestselling novels by Blanka Lipińska, a Polish makeup artist-turned-author. Lipińska was inspired by “Fifty Shades of Grey" when writing the trilogy.
Given that there are three books, it follows that there will be three movies. Here's what we know about the future of the franchise.
The third '365 Days' movie was confirmed a while back
When the cast reunited to film "365 Days: This Day" in the summer of 2021, author Lipińska posted a message on Instagram sharing that the franchise was confirmed to continue into a third movie, entitled "Next 365 Days."
"One thing remains the same in books and movies ... there will be sex, sex and even more sex," Lipińska wrote.
The release date is in August
You can watch the movie starting on August 19 on Netflix.
'365 Days' 3 was filmed in Sicily
The second movie was filmed between Poland and Sicily, where Laura and Massimo are from.
Given that they were filmed in tandem, we can expect to see more Sicilian views in the third movie, especially now that Nacho (Simone Susinna), a rival gang leader competing for Laura's heart, is in the mix.
Massimo has a twin brother, but he's probably not coming back for the third movie
The arrival of Massimo's long-lost twin brother, Adriano, in "365 Days: This Day" creates problems for Laura and Massimo.
Born 10 minutes after Massimo, Adriano — who is also played by Morrone — feels as though the mafia empire was robbed from him, as he is not the heir. The brothers' estrangement is so deep that Massimo doesn't even mention him until after he's married to Laura.
Since Laura hardly knows of Adriano's existence, Laura believes she sees Massimo cheating on her with his ex, Anna (Natasza Urbańska), but in fact it's Adriano . Laura's sense of betrayal leads her to run away with Nacho (a change from the book, in which Nacho kidnaps her).
The movie ends with a bloody standoff between Adriano and Anna on one side, and Massimo, Nacho and Laura on the other. Massimo shoots his brother — and Anna shoots Laura, leaving her wounded when the credits start to roll.
The cast is expected to return
Yes, Laura's fate is up in the air in the finale moments of the second movie. But we can expect Anna-Maria Sieklucka to return, as will Morrone, in the second movie.
We'll also see Magdalena Lamparska and Otar Saralidze as Laura's friend Olga and Massimo’s consigliere Domenico. They get engaged in the second movie.
Based on the third book, the plot of '365 Days 3' might be bleak
"The Next 365 Days," the third book in Lipińska's trilogy, is available to read in English, and may give a preview of what to expect in the third movie.
The official publisher's synopsis paints a picture of a marriage, and a life, in crisis: "As the wife of Don Massimo Torricelli, one of the most dangerous Mafia bosses in Sicily, Laura’s life is a roller coaster. She is often at risk, the potential target of Massimo’s unscrupulous enemies who will stop at nothing to destroy the powerful man. And when Laura is seriously injured in an attack, pregnant and fighting to survive, Massimo faces the toughest decision of his life. What will his life be without Laura? Will he be able to raise their child alone? What will the fate of his family be, and whose 365 days may come to a close?"
Laura is pregnant in the end of the first film, but doesn't tell Massimo, and loses the baby in the attack in the tunnel. In the second book, she has another miscarriage.
Things get darker from there — seriously darker. Among the plot points from the third "365 Days" novel? Laura struggles with alcohol addiction. She requires a heart transplant, and Nacho procures her the organ through his connections. Massimo kills Laura's dog, Prada, and sends it to her in a box.
And in the end, after all that, Laura does end up with one of the leading men, and keeps her Sicilian sojourn going.

365 Days: This Day Ending Explained: How Laura Ended Up In Even More Trouble And What It Could Mean For The Sequel
365 Days: This Day landed Laura in way more trouble!
Warning! Spoilers are ahead for 365 Days: This Day! Go have a sexy interlude and come back once you’ve caught up!
For all of the controversy surrounding the kidnapping at the center of the 365 Days franchise, no one can deny that lots of people still love watching the sexually explicit Netflix movies . The sequel to the hit 2020 romantic thriller, 365 Days: This Day recently hit the streamer as part of the 2022 Netflix movie schedule , and quickly made it to the Top 10 movie list there as viewers tuned in to see how things picked up after the big cliffhanger of the 365 Days ending .
As you might expect, seeing as how there’s a third book in the series from Polish author Blanka Lipińska, there will be a third movie in the franchise, so 365 Days: This Day did, indeed, ended on yet another massive cliffhanger. So, let’s take a look at how Laura ended up in even more trouble by the end, and what it might mean for the next sequel. On with the drama!
What Happened At The End Of 365 Days: This Day
If, after all of the ups, downs, danger, and sexy sex times of 365 Days and its sequel, you were hoping that Laura and Massimo could just be together and enjoy a relatively easy life, well, I’ve got bad news. As mentioned earlier, 365 Days: This Day ended on another cliffhanger where Laura was in major trouble, and this time, she’s actually been shot and was left bleeding out on the floor in the last minute of the movie. I know!
So, how did Laura get there? Well, it involves her being kidnapped yet again, some new characters and the return of one character from the first film whom you may have forgotten about. And if you’re having trouble keeping everyone straight, let’s take a look at them now:
Nacho
As Laura is lamenting her status as the kept wife of a mafia boss with nothing to do other than have very realistic-looking sex and be ordered around by either her husband or his men, Nacho comes up to her and introduces himself as Massimo’s new gardener. Obviously, this man (who is very nearly an exact physical copy of Massimo and immediately sparks interest in Laura) is not who he says he is. He’s actually Marcelo “Nacho” Matos , son of Spanish mob leader Don Fernando Matos , a rival of Massimo’s who’s looking to exert some pressure on Laura’s new hubby because he thinks he’s expanding his business too much.

Your Daily Blend of Entertainment News
You don’t remember Anna? Not a major shock, I didn’t either, and certainly didn’t think to list her as one of the things about 365 Days to remember before the sequel , but here we are. Anna was only seen during the masquerade party scene in 365 Days , and she is yet another Sicilian mafia scion. She had a romantic past with Massimo and tried to make him forget about Laura in the first film, partly because she’s hoping to unite their powerful families by marrying the mobster.
Adriano
And, here was a big surprise, for the audience as well as Laura. Our dear, broody Massimo actually has an identical twin brother! The only giveaways that these are not the same man (unless you talk to them), are that Adriano isn’t nearly as put together and calm as Massimo, and he has two different-colored eyes, which Laura is only close enough to notice after it’s way too late. When Laura and Massimo head to a fancy event, he appears to be pulled away by Anna. When Laura follows, she finds them having sex in one of the hotel rooms and leaves, obviously angry. Did you guess that she actually saw Adriano and Anna doing adult things? Good job!
How Everyone Ended Up In The Big Showdown At The End
Evil twin Adriano has been plotting with Anna to get Laura out of the way so that he can lure Massimo out and kill him, leaving Adriano as the only heir to their family’s mob empire, and they nearly succeed. But, when Laura leaves the event and heads outside, Nacho (not so miraculously) finds her, and she tells him to get her out of there, which he does, driving her away. The next morning, Laura lets Nacho “the gardener” take her to Spain to stay at his father’s beachside home.
This is when shit starts to go down, guys. Laura and Nacho spend several days together, eating meals, hanging out with his pregnant sister (she’s introduced as his sister, anyway), surfing, watching movies, and just all around enjoying each other’s company. Oh, and Laura also begins fantasizing lots of hardcore sexy stuff about Nacho, and they also kiss (for real) while playing in the ocean.
Soon, though, the jig is up, and Nacho has to come clean about the fact that he needed to kidnap her for his dad, and she made it very easy by willingly going with him. Nacho then takes her to the big mob meetup with his father and Massimo, who’s livid. All of the men eventually realize that the compound is not as safe as it should be, because Laura has been spirited away by another party: Adriano and Anna, who hold her at gunpoint when a furious Nacho and Massimo find her.
A war of words ensues, with poor, unarmed Laura very much in the middle. When Adriano reveals to Massimo and the assembled group that Laura had been pregnant, but lost the child because of the accident in the previous finale, she breaks free from his hold and tries to run away. This causes Anna to shoot her, and then Anna is shot by Nacho. Massimo then shoots Adriano, and Nacho turns his gun on him, before walking away and allowing Massimo to take care of an unconscious Laura. Whew!
What The Cliffhanger Could Mean For Laura, Massimo, And Nacho In The Sequel
Let’s start with Nacho, since he’s the newest element involved here. It seemed pretty obvious that he felt bad about helping Laura get into even deeper trouble with his soft kidnapping and bringing her to the mafia hang. He’d already told her that his feelings for her were real (and she clearly shared those feelings), and with her certainly living through her injury, I wouldn’t be surprised if he attempts to come back for her, or if she finds herself thinking about him and maybe goes off with him willingly again.
So, Laura will likely survive, but things didn’t look too good for Anna, who was shot square in the center of her chest by Nacho. Meanwhile, Massimo only managed to shoot his brother, Adriano, in the shoulder, so he could easily live to see another day. This is especially true with Massimo now being focused on getting Laura medical help and keeping her safe.
I fully expect Adriano to cause trouble again in the sequel, which will probably be called The Next 365 Days , like the book. And, with that title, I’m guessing that we could see Laura involved in yet another kidnapping, with either her being successfully taken by Adriano this time, or Nacho deciding that Massimo just isn’t good enough for her or able to really keep her safe, and kidnapping her in the next movie.
I had lots of feelings after watching 365 Days: This Day , but one lingering question is: Who will Laura really be in love with at the end of all this? I have no clue! But, I am certainly intrigued to see how this not-so-sexy mess will wrap up!

365 Days 3 release date, trailer, cast and everything you need to know about The Next 365 Days
Laura and Massimo's story comes to an end.
The trailer was released on Augus8 8 to tease the end of Laura and Massimo's story, and it followed the release of the first four minutes of the movie on July 25. This opening confirmed whether or not Laura survived the dramatic finale of 365 Days: This Day .
In case you needed reminding, the end of the sequel saw Laura shot by Massimo's ex-lover Anna, leaving Laura's fate up in the air. Surely they wouldn't kill her off with a third movie on the way though?
Well, wonder no more as the opening reveals her fate, but if you want to stay spoiler-free, we won't mention it here. If you want to know though, check out the beginning of the movie below:
We always knew that a threequel would be coming as Netflix confirmed two sequels for 365 Days in May 2021 following the success of the controversial first movie .
The two sequels brought back the original creative team that made it such a surprise hit, who have worked closely with Blanka Lipinska who wrote the 365 Days trilogy of books that the movies are based on.
So here's everything you need to know about The Next 365 Days .
365 Days 3 release date: When can we expect The Next 365 Days?
Netflix has confirmed that The Next 365 Days will arrive on Friday, August 19 , so mark that date in your calendar right now.
The second and third movies filmed back-to-back from May to June 2021, which explains the quick turnaround between the sequel and the threequel.
365 Days 3 trailer: Watch The Next 365 Days trailer here!
The steamy and dramatic (obviously) trailer for The Next 365 Days was released on August 8 for your enjoyment.
In it, we see the challenges facing Laura and Massimo in the final movie, especially when that pesky gardener Nacho shows back up on the scene and still wants Laura. Naughty naughty.
If you missed it above, check it out below:
365 Days 3 cast: Who's coming back for The Next 365 Days?
It's been confirmed that the third movie will bring back Anna-Maria Sieklucka and Michele Morrone as Laura and Massimo, respectively.
They'll also be joined by newcomer Simone Susinna as Nacho who, in the sequel, fell in love with Laura. Their blossoming relationship is probably ruined by the revelation that he's the son of a rival Mafia boss who's the "eternal rival" of Massimo's family.
Magdalena Lamparska and Otar Saralidze will also be back as Laura's BFF Olga and Massimo's right hand man Domenico, respectively. The duo got engaged in the sequel, so hopefully their marriage is happier than Laura and Massimo's.
We're about to go into some spoilers from the opening of the third movie, so look away now if you don't want to know.
The opening confirms that Massimo's long-lost twin brother Adriano (also played by Morrone, unsurprisingly, in the sequel) died as a result of being shot by Massimo at the end of 365 Days: This Day .
There's no sign of Massimo's former lover Anna, played by Natasza Urbańska, in the opening. She was also shot at the end of the sequel, so her fate remains unknown for now.
The trailer also doesn't feature Anna, but that doesn't mean she won't be back to cause trouble for her ex.
365 Days 3 plot: What's The Next 365 Days about?
If you want a full breakdown of the drama that happened in the sequel, we've got you covered here , so we'll just focus on the big stuff.
As if the revelation of Massimo's twin brother wasn't enough, the sequel also ended with Laura being shot by Anna. It's the second time that Laura's fate has been left ambiguous, but the opening confirmed she survived again.
The second book also ended with Laura being shot and the third book opened with Massimo having to choose between saving Laura or their unborn child. (Laura was still pregnant after the accident in the book trilogy, one of two notable changes .)
She might have some explaining to do with Massimo though as she didn't tell him that she lost their baby during the accident at the end of the first movie. Massimo's twin Adriano revealed it to him during the tense showdown, but Massimo obviously didn't have time to dwell on it as Laura was shot.
The synopsis released by Netflix suggests that there's still challenges on the way for the couple: "Laura and Massimo's relationship hangs in the balance as they try to overcome trust issues and jealousy while a tenacious Nacho works to push them apart."
The threequel will again be based on the book by Blanka Lipińska, but don't expect it to completely follow the events of the book.
The Next 365 Days: A Novelvolume 3 (365 Days Bestselling)
While the first movie closely followed the book, the sequel changed certain plot elements to tone down the potential controversial edges. In the book series, Nacho was a hitman who kidnapped Laura who, again, started to fall in love during her captivity.
It means we can expect similar changes when it comes to the third movie, especially as the plot of the third book left fans very unimpressed .
After Massimo saves Laura's life, he lies to her about why she miscarried and she gets addicted to alcohol, while Massimo kills her dog and kidnaps her again (she'd gotten with Nacho by this point) among the many ludicrous twists.
The Next 365 Days will be released on Netflix on August 19.

The erotic 365 Days film series that has everyone talking recently made a return to Netflix with its second instalment, 365 Days: This Day.
While the first outing was panned by critics, the series proved to be a viral hit – and there's still one book in the trilogy left to adapt.
The films are based on Blanka Lipińska's series of novels and follow the life of Laura (Anna Maria Sieklucka), which takes a dramatic turn when she's kidnapped on holiday in Sicily by mafia member Massimo (Michele Morone), who holds her hostage for 365 days in a (successful) bid to make her fall for him.
With the second movie ending on another cliffhanger (if you need the 365 Days: This Days ending explained , click here), 365 Days 3 is sure to feature more twists and turns, hopefully, some answers and certainly a lot more sex.
Read on for everything we know so far about 365 Days 3 so far, including release date speculation, plot information and returning cast members.

365 Days 3 release date speculation
365 Days 3 will likely be released in 2023.
Although we know for certain that a third film in the series is definitely on the way, its precise release date on Netflix remains unclear at this stage.
The good news is that there might not be too long to wait – the second and third films were both announced at the same time and were filmed back to back, so it's possible we could even see the third entry before the end of 2022.
The release date of some time in early 2023 is probably still a little more likely at this stage, but we'll keep you updated if we hear any more concrete information.
365 Days 3 plot
As with the first two films in the trilogy, 365 Days 3 will be based on the novel by Blanka Lipinska, although it's possible one or two deviations could be made from the source material.
Following the dramatic shootout at the end of the second film, it seems likely that the third instalment will pick up with Laura and Massimo attempting to fix their relationship, which has hit more than a few road bumps so far.
We can also probably expect to see more of Nacho and his father – perhaps there will be an escalation of the war between the mafiosos?
The plot synopsis of Lipinska's third novel – which is titled The Next 365 Days – reads: "As the wife of Don Massimo Torricelli, one of the most dangerous Mafia bosses in Sicily, Laura’s life is a roller coaster.
"She is often at risk, the potential target of Massimo’s unscrupulous enemies who will stop at nothing to destroy the powerful man. And when Laura is seriously injured in an attack, pregnant and fighting to survive, Massimo faces the toughest decision of his life.
"What will his life be without Laura? Will he be able to raise their child alone? What will the fate of his family be, and whose 365 days may come to a close?"
365 Days 3 cast
The following cast members have been confirmed for 365 Days 3.
- Anna-Maria Sieklucka as Laura
- Michele Morrone as Massimo
- Simone Susinna as Nacho
- Magdalena Lamparska as Olga
- Otar Saralidze as Domenico
Anna-Maria Sieklucka and Michele Morrone will be returning as leads Laura and Massimo respectively, while it also looks like we can expect to see more of Simone Susinna as Nacho.
Meanwhile, Magdalena Lamparska and Otar Saralidze will also be back as Olga and Domenico, who announced their own engagement in the second film.
Grażyna Szapołowska and Tomasz Stockinger could also return as Laura's parents Klara and Tomasz, but it seems unlikely we'll see a return for Natasza Urbańska, whose character Anna appeared to be very much killed off at the end of the second film.
And of course, there could be some new faces as well – we'll keep you updated with any casting news as and when it's announced.
Is there a trailer for 365 Days 3?
There's no trailer for the third film yet, but we'll post one here as soon as it becomes available – so keep checking back for any updates.

- Lipińska, formerly a makeup artist, has become one of Poland's highest-paid authors.
- In February 2021, an English-language translation of Lipińska 365 Days officially hit shelves.
Until now, reading the book that inspired Netflix's 365 Days wasn't a possibility unless you were fluent in Polish, or willing to scour the Internet for an unofficial translation. The steamy movie is based on a series of Polish-language erotic novels by Blanka Lipińska , first published in 2018.
365 Days by Blanka Lipińska
As of February 2, 2021, Lipińska's first book is officially available to read in English through Atria's Emily Bestler books. The second installment, That Day , will come out in 2022, potentially at the same time as the movie sequel , which Lipińska is co-writing. And she confirms the sequel will be as steamy as the first film . "It will be a very hot movie," Lipińska tells OprahMag.com.
365 Days derives its title from the story's premise. While on vacation in Sicily, a Polish woman named Laura is kidnapped by Massimo, a mafia don convinced she is the love of his life. If Laura doesn't reciprocate the feeling within a year, she's free to go.
Reader, she stays—a decision that inspired outrage and think-pieces galore after 365 Days hit Netflix. The shockingly graphic movie was critiqued for its glorification of toxic masculinity, and for turning kidnapping into a kind of romantic fantasy.
Despite its 0% Rotten Tomatoes score , 365 Days was an undeniable hit among audiences: The movie reigned supreme on Netflix's Top 10 chart for two weeks, and inspired curiosity about Lipinska's original novels . For their BDSM-twinged sex scenes and their glowering billionaire romantic lead, Lipińska's novels are often referred to as Poland's 50 Shades of Grey.
Published in 2018 and 2019, the novels catapulted 35-year-old Lipińska from a makeup artist to one of her country's highest paid authors and a literal tabloid celebrity—something she has mixed feelings about. "When I started with the books, I thought I wanted to be celebrity. I thought it would be fun. No, it's not," Lipińska says. "The paparazzi are everywhere. I go to buy toilet paper and they take a photo. It's not a comfortable situation. I don't want to be a star. I want to be Mr. Nobody."
Thanks to the movie, Lipińska is on her way to becoming an international star. While checking into a hotel in 2020, people at the front desk identified her as "the girl who created 365 Days ." The remark is accurate in more ways than one: 365 Days is wrapped up in Lipińska's life.
According to Lipińska, the 365 Days trilogy was born out of personal frustration. About eight years ago, Lipińska found herself trapped in a relationship much like Laura's in the novel, adding that Laura's boyfriend Martin looks "exactly the same" as her ex. "They even have the same clothes," she says. While they were compatible in terms of personality, Lipińska was sexually frustrated. "He was perfect for me with everything. But not with the sex," Lipińska says. "It was a hard situation, especially when you love someone so much."
The character of Massimo—all of his overpowering energy—spoke to what Lipińska craved at that point in her life. "In that moment, when I wrote the book, I really needed someone who would take all responsibility from me. I was in a moment in my life where I didn't see a way out. Only a big black hole. I'm a tough woman. A businesswoman. I was tired of deciding. All the time I had to decide about something—life, work, money. I thought, It would be so nice to have a strong guy who would tell me what to do ," Lipińska says.
Martin is not the only autobiographical element in 365 Days . Lipińska claims "85% of the story is real." While Lipińska won't clarify exactly which elements of the story were based on her life, she confirms she was indeed kidnapped by a lover—but that it was "easier" than Laura's experience in the book, and "quite exciting."
Given the overlap between truth and fiction, Lipińska found shooting the movie in Sicily to be occasionally overwhelming. "There were moments on set of the movie where I had to go to a dark room and chill for a little. It was too emotional. I remembered all of it from my real life. It was really weird sometimes, but wonderful. This was the biggest adventure of my life," she says.
Lipińska emphasizes that her controversial books are meant to be entertainment, not a guide to life. She compares her books to Thomas Harris's popular Hannibal Lecter book series, which inspired the Oscar Award-winning movie The Silence of the Lamb s . "Hannibal Lecter eats people. Nobody says, If people watch the movie, they'll start to eat people . No. It's only a movie. It's only entertainment," she says. " 365 Days is the same story as Beauty and the Beast , let's be honest, but nobody gets upset about that because it's a cartoon."
Still, she urges readers not to judge her books from 365 Days alone, but rather to read the entire trilogy first. When viewed as a whole, she considers her books to be a feminist cautionary tale. "I want to tell women to be focused and use their brains. Their independence is the most important thing in the world," she says.
Thanks to her books, Lipińska has achieved exactly what she hopes her readers achieve: Independence. "I have my dream life because I can give the people I love all they want," she says.
Despite her success, don't count on more novels from the author, who describes herself as a "businesswoman," not a writer. "I wrote only one story, and now it's finished," she says. she says. While she start a novel that revisits 365 Days through Massimo's perspective, she abandoned the project three years ago. "I said many times that I wish I never have to write anything again. If I don't write anything, it means I'm happy."

- After a meeting between the Torricelli Sicilian Mafia crime family and black market dealers, Massimo Torricelli (Michele Morrone) watches a beautiful woman on a beach. His father, leader of the Sicilian Mafia family, is suddenly shot dead, injuring Massimo as well. Five years later Massimo is now a ruthless and violent leader having taken over the Torricelli crime family. In Warsaw, Laura Biel (Anna Maria Sieklucka), a fiery brunette executive, is unhappy in her relationship with her boyfriend Martin, who rebuffs her when she tries to initiate sex. Laura celebrates her 29th birthday in Italy with friends but after Martin embarrasses her, she goes for a walk and runs into Massimo, who suddenly kidnaps her. At his villa, Massimo reveals to Laura that she was the woman at the beach five years ago and that when he was injured, all he could think about was her. After searching for years and finally spotting her at the airport, he had to have her and intends to keep her as a prisoner for 365 days (one year) until she falls in love with him, promising a life of endless luxury. When she tries to escape, he threatens her family, shows her photographs of Martin's infidelity, and tells her a breakup letter was delivered to Martin on her behalf. He reassures her that he will not touch her without her consent, as he touches her without her consent. With no means of escaping, Laura gives in. Over the next two months as they spend more time together, a vengeful and angry Laura provokes him by wearing lingerie and revealing dresses. However, she slowly starts to get him to open up about his personal life. At a hotel in Rome, she teases him again and he cuffs her to the bed. She is forced to watch Massimo receive oral sex from another woman. Afterward, he caresses Laura's body and she appears to be giving in. However, he stops, releases her, and orders her to get dressed for a club. At the club, Laura flaunts herself for Massimo and his friends, angering him. When she begins to flirt with a man from the rival mafia family, the man gropes her against her will. Massimo and the others draw their weapons while Laura is taken out of the club. The following morning, Laura awakens on a yacht to Massimo and his fellow mafioso, Mario, arguing. During the night, Massimo shot the man's hand, who had groped Laura, inciting a mafia war between the two families. Mario insists that Massimo has to get rid of Laura, but he refuses. Laura attempts to apologize, but Massimo blames her for the incident. As they argue, Laura falls into the water and completely panics and thinks shes going to die by drowning, which affects her heart condition. Then Massimo jumps in to save her. When she awakens, he admits he was scared she might not make it and does not want to lose her. At that moment she falls in love with him as a montage illustrates by the various sex scenes on the yacht. Massimo allows Laura to visit her family in Warsaw. He tells her he loves her and will join her after finishing up business. In Warsaw, Laura waits for Massimo for days with no contact. She reconnects with her best friend Olga and they go clubbing. She runs into Martin, who says he has been looking for her to apologize and explain the photographs. He attempts to convince her to reconcile and follows her back to her apartment, where Massimo is unexpectedly waiting. He tells Martin to go. Angry at being abandoned, Laura slaps Massimo. While having sex, she opens his shirt to see wounds from the mafia war. She confesses to him that she loves him. The following morning, Massimo proposes and she accepts. However, she asks him to keep his "occupation" a secret from her parents. Back in Italy, Mario informs Massimo of rising tensions. One day, Laura mentions feeling unwell but brushes off seeing a doctor. They discuss their upcoming wedding that her family is not allowed to attend, as she does not want them to discover what Massimo does. However, Massimo allows Olga to come as Laura's bridesmaid. When Olga visits, Laura reveals she is pregnant. Olga urges her to tell Massimo about the pregnancy. Meanwhile, Mario receives a phone call from a Torricelli informant that the rival mafia family is about to kill Laura. Laura's car enters a tunnel but does not come out the other side. Mario rushes to find Massimo just as Laura's call suddenly ends. Realizing the implications, Massimo breaks down, as a police car blares at the entrance of the tunnel.
